This is a pivotal role within the organization that is responsible for development, delivery and acceleration of digital & transformation initiatives in EMEA. As a digital strategy and transformation leader, the candidate will be working at the intersection of business strategy, design and technology, to derive insight, shape interaction, unlock innovation for our businesses. The candidate will be responsible for developing a clearly defined compelling digital strategy, drive change and implement the digital strategy for EMEA. This role will drive high engagement with all stakeholders to ensure a flawless delivery to our customers, partners, and people and will also drive the sales and services adoption efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prioritize and drive technology related transformation projects from EMEA business standpoint, partnering with IT and facilitating iteration with countries, accelerating deployments by shortening implementation routes, leveraging countries and regional track records.
- Develop a comprehensive transformation roadmap collaboratively with country managers and LOB heads to draft and execute a country specific transformation agenda connecting with a comprehensive end to end regional transformation roadmap.
- Identify critical capabilities required to drive implementation of key transformational projects across different business and markets. Partner with HR to guarantee the talent right size, fertilizing learning and career paths through the region.
- Accountable together with markets for driving business transformation, accelerating organic growth, enabling cost efficiency and simplifying processes with an end-to-end approach.
- Promote a growth mindset and agile testing/implementation aimed at increasing efficiency and improving time to market.
- Advise country teams on advantages/benefits and disadvantages of different technology approaches. Use market analysis, insights, trends, and knowledge to incorporate external environment information and better prepare MetLife EMEA to win the future.
- Build a digital centralized expertise (web development and maintenance, application development and maintenance, media buy, digital marketing performance) connected with Business transformation priorities throughout the region.
- Champion and communicate MetLife’s Digital strategy to internal and external audiences.
- Provide and demonstrate thought leadership through competency and credibility
- 8- 10 years of work experience in the fields of digital, marketing, distribution in B2C environments
- Strong experience, appetite, usage and understanding of digital
- Strengths in transversal work across functions and markets with natural leadership and influencing skills
- Competence in change management
- Strong project management, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and oral English communication / presentations skills
- Highly motivated, self-starter, enthusiastic, and creative individual
- Results orientated and pragmatic, with and strong appetite for tangible accomplishments
- Education: Engineering or Business Administration degree with MBA, international profile is a plus
