POSITION SUMMARY:

The main responsibility of the Epidemiologist is to provide support for the development and management of post-marketing (pharmacoepidemiological) vaccines studies


OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct literature reviews
  • Write and/or review study protocols, questionnaires, reports, manuscripts, posters and presentations
  • Review statistical analysis plans and analysis output. Analyze data, if needed
  • Conduct data review
  • Present results to internal and external stakeholders
  • Participate in cross functional meetings and activities, as needed

REQUIRED SKILLS:

Education and Experience

  • Medical, pharmacy or postgraduate level science
  • Master or PhD in Epidemiology and/or Public Health
  • Excellent English spoken and written skills
  • Experience working as an Epidemiologist in the pharmaceutical industry, CRO and/or public health department
  • Track record of scientific publications
  • Desirable: therapeutic area experience in vaccines

Technical

  • MS Windows and MS Office user skills
  • Statistical software: STATA, SAS, R or similar
