Role

Working for one of the top startups in the country in hyper growth mode, the role is a truly generalist position managing all areas of people operations and strategy. The ideal candidate will be an experienced and strategic business partner, advocate of Ukio culture and will be able to take the people function to the next level and build a world class HR team beneath them while doing so.

This is a unique opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced start-up environment where no two days are the same. This person also needs to be willing to work across the full spectrum of HR responsibilities and have plenty of experience doing so.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee all people topics in the organization, including but not limited to Recruitment, Hiring, Learning and Development, Employee Relations, among others
  • Sets the strategic direction for all people initiatives with a strong focus on culture
  • Oversee all HR operational topics across all entities (Spain, Portugal and Germany) including across the full employment cycle and monthly payroll
  • Partner with managers providing advice and support on key people’s topics such as recruitment, performance management, leadership and development, among others
  • Create and implement HR procedures and policies that suit the organization´s size and speed of growth in addition to reviewing and improving existing ones in line with best-in-class HR practices
  • Manage and develop our hard working and motivated HR team

Requirements
  • A minimum of 7 years of HR experience managing HQ and local market intiatives
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work within a fast paced startup environment
  • Fluent in English and Spanish
  • Influencing, coaching and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple work streams simultaneously
  • Ability to meet fast-paced deadlines
  • Experience leading a team of at least 3 HR and Recruiting professionals
  • Previous experience working at a start-up is not a pre-requisite but a major plus
