SuccessFactors is their major global HR system for more than 50000 employees in 70 countries. Global master data processes are implemented to support HR and non-HR activities and Boehringer Ingelheim is running major initiatives for HR/IT. This includes transformation of HR into a global service organization as well as follow a roadmap to streamline their payroll and time systems based on SAP technology.This requires a global eFile solution to allow HR, supervisors and employees to manage and access documents in the personal eFile system as well as rendering documents based on text elements and data from SuccessFactors. This position is focused on their eFile solution OpenText ECM connected to SuccessFactors Employee Central.

Tasks and responsibilities
  • Implement up-to-date HR processes with current and future-oriented technology while respecting system stability, security, data protection and cost-efficiency.
  • Take responsibility for eFile solutions and related systems and consult their internal HR services based on understanding of processes and technology.
  • Evaluate, prioritize, and implement the requirements with the internal and external business partners.
  • Participate in project activities by consulting, solution design to implementation, test management and deployment.
  • Identify potential innovations in your area of expertise and promote continuous improvement to create additional business value.


  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or similar.
  • Experience in technical system configuration or development.
  • HR/IT experience, ideally related to SuccessFactors Employee Central SAP/HCM or any eFile solution.
  • Ability to structure topics based on traditional project management or scrum methodology.
  • Excellent spoken and written English.
  • Willingness and readiness to travel.
  • High level of verbal and written communication skills, willingness to collaborate intensively and across international teams, committed and solution-oriented work and problem analysis.
