*What is the scope of this project?

Our client is building the company´s Enterprise Development Platform (EDP) to accelerate the development, documentation, and delivery of applications and digital healthcare products onto a growing number of strategic runtime and data platforms: Red Hat OpenShift, AWS, Azure, and Salesforce, to name just a few.

Their users are everyone in the company.

**Must have experience with Java, groovy, Kubernetes and Docker**

They believe in the power of communities and contribute most of their work to the open-source project OpenDevStack on GitHub.

As a Platform DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in establishing a flexible, maintainable, scalable, and robust Platform, which is at the core of the company´s technology transformation by focusing the team members on outcomes without enforcing a particular method.

You will work on strengthening EDP’s capabilities and supporting the growth of EDP’s technology offering by developing partnerships with the company’s IT teams to make their products and services consumable on the EDP Marketplace.

As a member of an Agile team, you will collaborate with product leadership, architects, and subject matter experts from various areas.

Main responsibilities:

- Responsible for the development, maintenance and continuous improvement of our EDP and its various capabilities with the team.

- Responsible to strategize with product leadership and other stakeholders and help transform raw ideas into well-defined, communicable concepts.

- Participate in consulting activities with the company´s IT teams to make their products and services consumable via the EDP Marketplace.

- Help improve the team´s ability to execute and deliver into production frequently and automatically (Continuous Delivery).

- Support the customer success teams in resolving challenging issues and/or help identify suitable workarounds.

- Ensure that their solutions are well documented, tested, and conform with compliance expectations.

*What are the key technical skills that all candidates must attain?

• Bachelor´s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
• At least 8 years of experience in software engineering
• At least 3 years of experience writing automated tests at all levels of the Test Pyramid, ideally using the Spock framework.
• Experience in contributing to Git repositories is a must (will contribute to their open-source project OpenDevStack on GitHub)
• Previous experience in contributing to open-source projects will be a strong plus.
• Expert in Kubernetes/OpenShift and Java.
• Experienced with Jenkins, Tekton, and Golang will be a strong plus.
• Good communicator, able to translate complex technical solutions into simple-to-understand explanations for less technical audiences in end-user-facing documentation, product reviews, and demos.
• Experience working in an international and intercultural environment.
• Excellent spoken and written English skills.
• Understand that the solutions they build today might be obsolete tomorrow and are eager to learn other languages and frameworks to help grow our product into the future.
