Purpose of Role

Develop La Française business in the Iberian market. This will be done by maintaining a market map of professional clients and prospects (primarily in the Iberia market), building a good understanding of client needs, undertaking prospecting with target clients, managing client review meetings and updates, and developing and delivering presentations to clients. The candidate will be based in Madrid and will report to the Regional Country Head.

The role will include but isn’t limited to

  • ensure the promotion and distribution of the Group ‘s products: identify and develop new opportunities, identify prospects, develop investment products for a defined portfolio of institutional investors (customers and prospects), prioritizing investors with strong potential.
  • manage customer relationships: understand the investors’ characteristics and constraints in order to provide the best possible investment solution, including illiquid products, perform regular reporting, develop investors’ loyalty by delivering an optimal quality of service.
  • provide periodic analyzes on your activity and the evolution of your market and competition (positioning, local market practices and comparison of our offering with the flagship products of our local competition). Based on those reports, identify new market opportunities, develop business action plans, and strive to offer ever-more adapted solutions to your customers.
  • oversee the execution of the financial, economic, and legal aspects of your projects. Conduct negotiations and ensure investor satisfaction, cooperate with our teams of investment managers and analysts, and take into consideration the Group’s strategic objectives as well as its risk and conformity standards.
Required skills

  • very good knowledge of the Asset Management industry
  • client facing experience with excellent written and oral communication skills
  • fluency in Spanish and English (spoken and written) is essential, French is advantageous
  • high performance and success orientation as well as high self-motivation and ability to manage complex situation
  • ability to look beyond the tasks assigned, take ownership of projects, and make suggestions on how to improve the local development
  • strong open-mindedness and wish to join in an international environment: ability to interact at various levels of hierarchy and work with internal and external stakeholders in a multicultural and international context
