About the Position

As Senior UX/UI Designer at Panda Security a WatchGuard brand, you’ll be responsible for collecting and translating user insights into delightful experiences. Ultimately, you’ll create both functional and appealing beautiful features that address our customer’s needs. You will use your creativity – along with your technical knowledge – to develop great experiences and deliverables.

You’ll work with your department colleagues (visual designer, CRO UX research), sales team, product manager and development team. Together you will deliver UI mockups, prototypes, MVP and final products, as well as other deliverables (landing pages, banners, emails, etc).

In this role, you’ll have the privilege of being the voice of our customers. You’ll translate their needs into user-friendly design. You will have direct impact on the customer’s user-experience of our product, website and private area, applying visual and UX coherence and consistency throughout the whole customer journey.

A Day in the Life

As Senior UX/UI Designer at Panda Security a WatchGuard brand, you will:

  • Interpret data and qualitative feedback to solve issues and improve user experience and conversion rate.
  • Create user stories, personas, and storyboards.
  • Determine information architecture and create sitemaps and user flows.
  • Create prototypes, wireframes and deliverables.
  • Maintain and expand the design system.
  • Cooperate with the team to plan and conduct user research and competitor analysis.
  • Conduct usability testing.

30/60/90 Plan

30 days:

  • Company onboarding. Meet the different departments of Panda Consumer business unit.
  • Test and use our Panda Dome products.
  • Take a deep look into our brand and design guidelines, our design system and also our website and private area.
  • Get familiar with our workflows and task management tool.

60 days:

  • Start being autonomous when managing assigned tasks / projects.
  • Prepare a first analysis of our own website, private area and products and propose and present insights, conclusions and improvements.
  • Prepare a first analysis of our direct competitors and present some insights, differences and key points to take into account.

90 days:

  • Full control of the tools and workflows to be totally autonomous on the role.
  • Maintain and expand the design system.
  • Assume and manage large and complex projects.

Position Responsibilities

  • Work as part of a multidisciplinary international team, between Dev, Product, Marketing and Sales, understanding the requirements / context to deliver a proper solution to each project focusing on improving customer’ needs.
  • Create and iterate web components. Build and maintain the website framework (mobile-first approach)
  • Maintain and expand the design system.
  • Constantly work on improving user experience regarding website, private area, products and across all customer journeys.
  • Create products that are user-friendly and effective; design and maintain the UI of the products in Windows, Mac, Android and iOS.
  • Keep up to date regarding industry news, trends and tools.

  • Business know-how: Understanding of business metrics and the ability to translate company goals and objectives into digital experiences

The required qualifications for our ideal candidate are:

  • UX/UI design studies / background.
  • Expert knowledge of design industry tools such as Sketch, Figma, Invision, Overflow, Adobe Creative Cloud package (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, XD, After Effects..) etc.
  • Proficient knowledge of responsive design / mobile-first approach.
  • Understanding of interaction design principles.
  • Familiar with UX research tools such as google analytics, hotjar, crazy egg, user testing tools…
  • Technical knowledge (Angular, HTML5, CSS...) is not required but will be highly valued.
  • Fluent level of both English and Spanish.


  • At least 5 years’ experience as a UX/UI Design role.
  • Proven experience with digital products / services.
  • Proven experience designing a digital project or a part of it from scratch (MVP, wireframes, prototypes..)
  • Proven experience with user research and translating insights from research to your designs.
  • Previous experience in the cybersecurity sector is not required, but experience in the technology sector is a plus.
