What We’re Looking For

Gartner Digital Markets is looking for a Business Development Team Lead to work with our global sales organization and manage a team of Sales Development Specialists.

What You Will Do
  • Manage and mentor a team of Sales Development Specialists
  • Build, lead and inspire a team of Sales people in charge of all aspects of the selling the Digital Markets value proposition
  • Work closely with the global sales team on best practices and sales methodology implementation.
  • Take hands-on responsibility for driving revenue growth and customer value.
  • Deliver against monthly, quarterly, and annual targets set by senior sales leadership
What You Will Need
  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred
  • 2 - 4 years of proven consultative sales experience in technology (services or software)
  • 1-3 years proven sales leadership experience
  • Able to solve complex problems and successfully manage ambiguity and unexpected change.
  • Be teachable and open to best practices and feedback as a means of continuous improvement.
  • Be consistent at delivering results through perseverance, humility, and a positive outlook in the face of challenges.
  • Must be comfortable selling to, challenging and building trust-based, value-added relationships with executives ranging from CEOs and company founders to entry level marketers.
  • Have the ability to be professionally persistent while prospecting and managing C-level and senior-level relationships within large global enterprises and also small businesses
  • Proven experience building excellent client relationships, offering value added, insightful and strategic vision into their business
  • Knowledge of the full life cycle of the sales process from prospecting to close
